|1938 - Thanks, wendyzski!|
In this entry in her LJ, Wendy pointed out the Flavia office coffee system. I was interested, so I checked it out. It looked interesting. I ordered the free trial kit.
It came today. Really good stuff. Easy to deal with. Not too expensive. I've had the hazelnut decaf and the Colombian coffee with their latte creamer so far, and they've turned out quite well. They've got teas, and decaffeinated coffee, and hot chocolate, and it all looks like it'll work well.
I've got two weeks for the free trial. I expect I'll keep it. $99 for the brewer, 37 to 45 cents per drink pack in quantity 20. Great for those of us who only drink a small number of cups of coffee at a time. Recommended.
current mood: satisfied
Gevalia still rulez...even if it is damn expensive!
you gonna come visit me and play videogames at ground kontrol?
I'm not near Portland...I told the owner I'd come out there if he paid my expenses. Haven't heard back.
Aww, c'mon, decaf? Where's the fun in that?
I'll agree with that one, but my roommate drinks no caffeine. I'd like to accommodate his needs as well as my own.
I suppose, but I can tell you that I'm sure as hell not drinking coffee for the taste of it alone.
I don't normally, either, but they've got a Sumatran coffee (very high-powered) and a latte-style creamer that goes very well with it...
