The smaller satellite radio provider, Sirius Satellite Radio, has apparently signed a distribution deal with Radio Shack, as the local store has started selling their products.
The local Radio Shack is located in the shopping mall here in Fairmont. Yes, Fairmont is large enough to have a mall, though it's less than half full. They got the mall's sign out on the highway to promote their new product, but they forgot to spell out Sirius when telling them what they wanted on it:
RADIO NOW AVAILABLE
AT RADIO SHACK
current mood: amused
So, your saying not to take Sirius, Serious?
Well, since I've got XM... :-)
??? I take it that's a good thing.
There are two satellite radio providers: XM and Sirius. XM has been around longer and has a much large customer base, although with Radio Shack selling Sirius, that situation may change (which, I'm sure, is what Sirius is hoping for). Still, unless there's programming on Sirius that's highly desirable, i recommend that people go with XM.
Thank you!! I only pretend to be a geek on Monday, Wednesday and some Saturdays. You would have had to wait until tomorrow for me to pretend I understood the difference without an explaination.
