2154 - I'm on South Park!
...well, sort of. They included me among a group of Internet celebrities in episode 1204, Canada On Strike. I didn't know this in advance; ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) bronxelf_ag001 IMed vakkotaur while it was on, and we caught the last little bit of it. We're going to tape it when it comes on again in a couple of hours.
I really wish they'd asked me to do the voice. I'm told (I haven't heard it myself, yet) that they gave me a Minnesota accent, which, as anyone who's heard me speak will tell you, is about as wrong as it gets while still remaining within the American spectrum.
I'll have to watch the whole thing. I'm not a fan of South Park, but I'll make an exception for this one. If you're interested, check out the rerun schedule on the Comedy Central website. It'll be available to watch on the net for free in a month.
I complained about the voice on the South Park forum for the episode...it'll be interesting to see what turns up there.
Update, 3 April: The episode's now available online (make sure to select Canada on Strike). I'm waiting for it to buffer so I can watch.

I know you are not really a fan of the show, but c'mon, how many people get this kind of thing to happen in their life?

Well Jay, they do say that "celebrity voices are impersonated -- poorly" but, wow, you're now immortalized as a 'toon: just like The Warners.
You really need to sample it as an animated .gif for your avatars.
Sure hope you get paid your fair share of that million Theoretical Internet Dollars.
I just watched the South Park episode myself. I hadn't heard about "The Tron Guy" before but now I obviously have. Great stuff. I lost it when the "Numa Numa" guy came on.
I don’t watch it much, but in a way it’s kind of neat you got recognized, but after seeing you on FPS it didn’t do you much justice, Oh and you got eaten by a panda. Best wishes.
And he's not even Brent Sienna.
I was pretty shocked when I saw it. I wonder what they'll say about the voice?
Be careful what you ask for. If you ever reappear, you'll end up with 5 or 6 voices and accents.

Bummer, dude. I just went back and watched the rest of the show....Bright side is I guess you don't have to worry about what the next accent is going to be.
(Common thought this week has been "Good thing they're to far away to come over and kick my ass.)
Congratulations on making it onto TV. I guess sending you a toy Panda for Christmas would be a "bad thing".
I've told a few folks that I am not considering a panda suit.
Willing to bet you'll be waiting 'till the end of the month "for it to buffer." None of the current Season 12 eps are working.
Comedy Central lists a lot of episodes as available, which then don't play. Later, they put up a notice declaring "Due to pre-existing Contractual Obligations, we cannot stream this episode until (weeks away date here)."
Getting any full episode to play from their site is a trial, anyway, in ANY browser -- but it's up in the BitTorrents and, of course, YouTube already.
Well, it's playing, but in fits and starts. I suppose I can find it on YouTube, although if I knew where to look for a torrent, I might be inclined to suck it down.
Heh... I just saw the clip from a link on Digg and was going to pop in and show you. But, as I see, you've already seen it.

I just finished watching the show and it was hilarious ^_^ I'm so thrilled for you. The second I saw you I immediately came here after finishing the episode. Of course they didn't ask for your permission cause the intentionally poor impersonations they do to celebs is what makes it funny. Plus they don't have to worry about paying celebs them either. I mean just think how much Tom Cruise would of wanted if he did the voice for himself in the episode that got temporally stopped from being aired. Anyways congratulations :)
Wow! I am honoured to at least be known by someone who is considered "pop culture" enough to be parodied on South Park! Myself I can't stand the show (I saw one episode in one of the first few seasons, turned me completely off, and I've heard that the maturity has gone WAY downhill since, I'm glad that the only thing I see of it now is commercials, and I even want to bleach my eyes after seeing *those*.) Although, I must admit, I am mucho curious for your sake, I'm still not going to torture myself that much to d/l the episode just to see "your bit". If I wanted that kind of torture, I would ask vakkotaur to put on a panda suit and maul me. I guess that's truly how you know you've made it! (Also surprising that they didn't get your voice right, as you *have* talked during your 15 minutes of fame, it's not like how you talk is a secret that they had to fill in or something. I mean, if they gave, say, Britney Spears a New England accent, that'd be wrong, and it'd be obvious. So why do they give you a Minnesota one when it's no secret you have a Texas twang? I think they should take away that "Celebrity voices impresonated" disclaimer as they obviously dropped the ball on you.)

I watched the episode too; I liked how in a room full of crazy people you seemed like the sane one. What was it like to see a construction paper version of yourself on an internationally know show?
