I dislike anything that's slimy, and raw tomatoes qualify. So does okra, for the same reason.

Don't feel bad about the tomatoes. My wife hates tomatoes and (almost) tomato products of any kind. Which is why our pizzas either have no sauce, alfredo, or BBQ (this is the almost I referenced above).

I don't mind the flavor of tomato, and tomato sauce is fine; it's just raw tomatoes, or those in recognizable chunks that bother me.

My favourite pizza place does one with pesto sauce, spinach, artichoke hearts (which I usualy don't like), sundried tomatoe (very sweet and chewy), mozza and feta.
