Code review? You mean there are actually places that do code reviews?

Yeah, I'm tired of working in shops where they really don't know how to do software development and absolutely refuse to learn.

Oh, I suspect there are plenty of places that do code reviews. Now, as to the number that do them properly, and where everyone gets some value out of them...

I'm sure there are, I've just been working in too many really second rate environments for too long. I keep hoping that will change, but it doesn't. Sigh. Current job included.

Bah. I'm of the mindset the pictures should be reversed. Anyone who is in the position to review code doesn't understand it, and WTFs/minute increase on good code. *Really* good code makes their heads a-splode.
