|2118 - This week's getting busy too|
There was a voicemail waiting for me when I got to New York: the agent, letting me know what was going on with the deal we're working on. Not long after I dealt with that, as I was waiting for my suitcase, I got a call from the folks at Jimmy Kimmel Live. They want to shoot a short segment, kind of a standard video dating introduction piece. In costume, of course. We settled on doing that Wednesday. Between the presentations I've got scheduled Tuesday and Friday, and this bit Wednesday, and the meeting Thursday, this week is filling up fast.
current mood: busy
Do you even have a day job anymore?!?! *Grin* I've been trying to keep up with your adventures, and it's just incredible! I hope you're enjoying it!
I still have a day job, more or less. The company I do most of my consulting for is still sending work my way, and they're understanding about my schedule being really variable. If I weren't a consultant, though, I have no idea how I'd be doing all this (and probably wouldn't).
It's getting hectic, but it's still fun. If it weren't, I'd call a halt (or at least try to).
You go boy!!!!!
I am all kinds of impressed with the things you've gotten yourself into =)
TRON GUY WILL BE A HOUSEHOLD NAME.
Let's see... Google turns up 689 hits for "TRON guy" and not quite 900 for "Jay Maynard" and "TRON". Of course, there are overlaps there, but even so I'm sure I wouldn't find anywhere near as many references to me on the Web. (Not to be confused with references to my name—I didn't write From Here to Eternity, honest...). Yeah, appearing on Letterman or Leno would probably lead to more notoriety, but would they have him on repeatedly the way Kimmel has?
