|0950 - Encounter at the front door|
Two ladies walk up, one holding a copy of the Watchtower, the other a Bible.
"Hello. We'd like to share an encouraging thought with you from the Bible for our new neighbors."
"Thank you. Go away. Goodbye."
I closed the door. They got back in their car, sat for a bit, then drove off. I was nice enough to wait until they were out of sight before taping the other "No preaching" sticker from Ring of Fire Enterprises to the inside of the front storm door. (There was already one on the back door.)
current mood: awake
shoulda said something like "I'm sorry, I've already found religion" then held up one of the following:
1) a witchcraft book
2) the script to Tron
3) the book "The Brady Bunch Guide to Life"
3) a hamster
"We'd like to share an encouraging thought with you from the Bible for our new neighbors."
Nope. We've been in this house since January 2002.
Were the Jehovah Witnesses?
I don't understand. Were they?
Re: Were the Jehovah Witnesses?
I would expect so, since Watchtower is a JW publication.
