Splut

Apple, could you please suck, just once?

It's generally recognized that Apple's industrial design - the way they design their computers, iPods, accessories, and so on - kicks ass. Even their packaging is impressive. None of it sucks.

This extends even unto such minor details as the bag they give you to carry things home from the Apple Store in. They're great: heavy duty, nicely done, well constructed. I had to hit the Apple Store in Novi, MI last weekend for a replacement iPod cable (and walked out with a second power adapter for the company's MacBook Pro and an AirPort Express, but that's another story), and the bag I got was even niftier than usual: nice drawstring closure, run through grommets at the bottom corners. Really nice.

So nice, in fact, that I hate throwing the damned things away! If I do that much more, I'm going to be up to my elbows in Apple Store bags...
