|0906 - Good for her!|
NEW YORK (AP) -- Margaret Johnson might have looked like an easy target.
But when a mugger tried to grab a chain off her neck Friday, the wheelchair-bound 56-year-old pulled out her licensed .357 pistol and shot him, police said.
That needs to happen more often.
The real surprise: Someone who isn't very well-connected could get a permit for a handgun in NYC?!
current mood: surprised
Wow. Cool! :)
Yeah I'm shocked by that too.
Yes, this does need to happen more often. The more often it happens, the less likely there are to be muggers. Make it unprofitable...
Yeah I rather liked this one
saw one 2 days ago about a 55 year old nurse that strangled a burgler in her home with her bare hands! the man had a hammer and a long police record and she killed him! She had about 6" and 100lb on him!
She then ran to the neighbors but the cops said they didn't have to calm her down as she's an ER nurse & is used to emergencies.
