|0748 - The First Amendment in an Obama world|
A man was arrested for having the audacity to wear a McCain-Palin shirt to an Obama victory rally, while crowds chanted Obama's name.
So much for the First Amendment.
current mood: distressed
OK - that's really scary. Guess the only thing I have to be thankful for is that maybe with the Obamaites in charge, they'll quit trying to make my Canine Good Citizen, soon to be Therapy Dog PIT BULL illegal. /sarcasm
Nono, that's covered under the "new" "Assault weapons" definition.
What did Obama say about that?
(Given the text boxes on the video, I wouldn't trust the poster as far as I could throw the Internet.)
When was the last time you trusted the Philadelphia police to obey the law?
He's just lucky the police got to him 1st....
Sadly, I'm not joking....
Uh... actually, that's a pretty retarded thing to say.
You're not joking about what? Portraying those evil godless liberals as a bunch of heathens who would have killed the guy or something?
Then again, I'm sure you're familiar with getting mobbed by people who hate you for what you wear and want to beat the shit out of you for it, so I'm sure you can tell they were about to tear him to shreds or something.
I know some furries who take it to the nth degree. Furpiles and all. And yet, somehow, I don't assume all Furs do that.
I suppose the same logical leap is too much to expect from you.
There is no doubt, given the cultist mentality of some (not all) Obama supporters, it's quite likely he would have gotten hurt. But it would only have taken only a few to make this guys day end very badly.
Very easy to see I'm furry based on the icons, but should you take the time to look a bit deeper, you'll see I'm Libertarian NOT Republican. I couldn't vote for McCain for the same reason I couldn't support Obama. Both support bigger government.
For the record, in all the public appearances I have made, not once have I been attacked for self expression.
I'm glad those cops are rigged into SkyNet so they could take their commands straight from the Office of the President-Elect.
Seriously man, give it a rest. Its not healthy.
I like free speech but I'm pretty sure wearing a McCain-Palin shirt to an Obama rally counts as trolling.
One of those cases of the cops arresting someone to keep their dumb ass from getting themselves into trouble. Doubt they even charged him with anything.
